Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I love this place. The pizza is awesome, but the sandwiches, salads and wings are great too. The bacon cheese fries are a personal fave. The Philly sandwiches are the best in town, either on a bun or in a wrap.

We've ordered from Piace Pizza in New Point twice now (once pick up and once delivery) and both times it was fantastic. The pizza is always loaded with toppings and very fresh. We ordered chicken wings this time and, although they were delivery, they were great- I asked for well done and they were. A little bit more expensive then chain pizza joints and I little bit longer of a wait, but well worth it!

Our first stop in at this great restaurant! My husband and I each got a different hoagie (club and chicken Capri) so we could share and both were fabulous! Server was wonderful....she answered questions and made suggestions like an old friend. We will be coming back!

Garlic bread & marinara sauce were FABULOUS! !! But, I wouldn't recommend the Greek pizza as it had NO taste! I added salt, pepper, & red roasted peppers but it only actually had a little taste the next day after sitting in the fridge all night. VERY disappointed in the Greek pizza as we went to this pizza place as it was ranked#1 in Beaufort. I'd try the place again but will try a marinara based pizza instead to see if it can redeem itself. The ricotta has no taste; therefore it needs some sort of seasoning and or meat to help give the overall pizza some flavor... maybe try it with marinara? ?

As soon as we move somewhere (and we move a LOT), it's a priority to find a top pizza place. So when we moved to Beaufort, we remembered the pizza place we had been to at Habersham when visiting back in 2011 (we had ended up eating there 3x in a week). I made my husband drive 40 minutes from our new home to find Piace over in Habersham. Now we're thrilled that they have opened a location on Lady's Island, much closer to home. But this pizza is worth a 40 minute drive, no joke! Crust is always tasty and crispy and chewy in all the right ways. The sauce and cheese and toppings are always awesome and in the right proportions. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, with truly fabulous microbrew beer on tap and in bottles. It's delicious! And management is helpful and responsive, and service is good and friendly.

The pizza is the best in Beaufort in our opinion, and the staff is great. Homey little place that seems to do a great business. No alcohol on Sundays, but they'll let you bring yours in if you want... can't beat it.

The pizza my family has had here was good. I did not immediately care for the sandwiches but I still ate them. Our waitress was nice, but the last time I was here she was a bit slow to take our order once we decided what we wanted on our pizza. She did refill our drinks promptly and let us have refills to go when we left.

I love this place! Pizza is never greasy, crust is crisped to perfection and the staff is nothing but respectful, helpful and friendly. My boyfriend and I eat here at least once a month :)

Our first time here from Jacksonville, NC originally from Chicago and the food was amazing!!! The fried ravioli (cheese and sausage) appetizer was DELICIOUS!!! The waitress (Teresa) was also very friendly and joked with us the minute we walked in which really caught our attention and appreciated that. A must try if you are around the area!

I am NEVER disappointed when I take a bite out of Piace's pizza. They are as authentic as it comes if you want a New York style pizza. I don't know what their secret is, but trust me, you won't be disappointed. Instead, you'll become addicted and will be a regular customer like me. ;-)

If you like thin crust pizza, this is your place! My hubby and I have been to the one in Habersham and this one of course and they're both equally great! Best pizza i have had in Beaufort...We will NEVER order from a large chain ever again!

I finally tried this place. Never again, I only wish I placed my review here instead of Facebook. Bottom line I was told it would take 45-50 minutes to receive the pizza, it took close to an hour and a half (I was house siting a few miles away). I specifically asked that the pizza NOT BE CUT. I mentioned not cutting twice through out the conversation. I transfer the pizza to a very hot stone, therefore when I cut the pizza it does not get soggy. I received my pizza, after waiting the aforementioned time with writing scrawled across the top. "Sorry we cut your pizza" So this is telling me that they acknowledged getting the order wrong, yet they sent it anyway. No phone call, or offer to remake it. Just here, pay up and don't forget to tip. (Btw I tipped 30% the driver wasn't to fault) I'll attach pics. The pizza was soggy, greasy and it fell apart as we tried to eat it. I was excited to try their pizza, according to the remarks I've gotten on Facebook this incident wasn't an anomaly.

My wife & I are on a quest to find a GOOD cheap pizza in the Beaufort area. We were excited to see Piace Pizza open in our neighborhood so, we went there this week to try theirs. The service is good and friendly, the pizza is the BEST we've had in Beaufort. The small side salad we split was fresh and tasty. Their alcoholic beverage selection is fairly broad. However, I think $5.95 for a small pour of house wine is too much. What this means is we will end up getting pizza to go and drink at home where the server leaves the bottle at the table. My point? charge a little less for the wine and profits might actually go up with more volume sold. :-)
